Erica Diala
Erica Diala discovered her passion for senior care more than 15 years ago after her grandfather was diagnosed with dementia. Growing up in a Latino household, dementia was unfamiliar territory, and her family learned through firsthand experience, education, and support. Watching her mother attend hospital visits and dementia support groups to bring knowledge back home shaped Erica’s understanding of compassionate care and sparked a lifelong commitment to ensuring no family feels alone or hopeless during that journey.
Erica began her career in senior living at the age of 18 in a skilled nursing memory care community, where she served as a Unit Clerk. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience across many roles, including Front Desk, Admissions and Marketing, Business Office Manager and Human Resources, Activities Assistant and Manager, and Interim Executive Director. She also holds a degree in Respiratory Therapy, adding to her well-rounded clinical and operational background.
Outside of work, Erica is a proud mom to her six-year-old daughter. Together, they love to travel, and Erica is a devoted Disney enthusiast who believes in bringing joy, magic, and meaningful moments into everyday life—both personally and professionally.
