What Is Summerset Scouts?

Summerset Scouts is an extension of our Activities with a Purpose program, but with an exciting twist: residents who participate in the Scouts earn recognition. Every time our residents join in activities- from our wellness classes and creative workshops to leadership roles and acts of kindness – they’re rewarded with beautifully designed collectible pins.

Each resident also receives a lanyard where they can proudly display their earned pins. This small but powerful visual representation becomes a source of pride and conversation for our Scouts, sparking new social connections with peers and encouraging even more community involvement.

How the Summerset Scouts Program Works

We Offer Collectible Pins and Lanyards

Every single resident starts their Summerset Scouts journey with a personalized lanyard. As they take part in different activities, they collect themed pins that highlight their achievements and can be attached to the lanyard.

We Celebrate Every Contribution

Participation is celebrated in meaningful ways. Residents can earn badges like:

• A Health Badge for attending wellness lectures or CPR classes.
• A Veteran Pin honoring their service to our country.
• A Leadership Badge for contributing to our councils or leading community efforts.
• Monthly themed badges, such as the Kindness Badge in February or the Creative Spirit Badge in March.

We Celebrate Seasonal and Monthly Themes

Each month introduces fresh opportunities for our residents to connect and earn new pins and badges. From holiday-themed projects to wellness challenges, residents always have something exciting to look forward to as the seasons change!

At our mid-year and year-end milestones, our residents with the most pins are celebrated with special rewards. One of the highlights?
